1 one: well she should be grateful because she has cloths and a house. But her parents did die and her little brother, if i was her i would not be grateful. 2: Hatties attitude and behavior is good and polite to people, but she is not polite under her breath.3: If someone is happy but than a challenge comes up and they are not happy anymore.

com 1-yes she does have a reason to be grateful right now other then the fire she is having a great life in my opinion com 2- is fine for her entire family burning in a fire com 3- so say some one is so happy playing a game or some thing and then a challenge they can not do they start to become sad/mad

To correct com 2- I meant to say, her life is okay, other than her family burning in a fire. Definitely not fine that her entire family burned in a fire, sorry.

Yes, Hattie has things to be grateful for. She should be grateful because she has a nice home. She also has a adorable cat named Cloud. Henry is also is very nice to Hattie.

1 Yes she does have a reason to be grateful because she still has a home isn’t still at the orphanage and has enough food and water and clothing. 2 I think it’s ok how she is acting because she is really hurt from her family passing away in the fire. 3 If there is a challenge sometimes they feel it’s to hard to accomplish and so they stop trying which ends up making them sad or mad.

2. Think that it is ok that she is sad and quiet. I think that would be easier for me to be like Hattie. I wouldn't want to say to strangers I didn't like the way they were treating me. I think that Hattie should be telling on the kids that are rude and mean to her.
3. I think that people feeling like being sad or mad can make their personality change. They will treat people different because of the way that they are feeling. When people are mad they can treat people bad or be rude. When people are happy they can be nice, kind, and loving.

1. She needs to be grateful because she has a house, clothing,a family, friends,a school to go to,etc. 2. Her attitude and behavior is kind and she is respectful to her elders. 3.If someone is happy and they have some sort of thing that happens in their like depression or any other type of thing, they would be sad or mad.

1.I think she should be grateful because she has all she really needs.2.I think it is fine for her to behave like this because a lot of things have happened to her.3.People's personalitys can change by what happens to them like Hattie's.Bad things have happened to her which has changed her to be not as grateful as others.

1.Hattie does have a reason to be grateful because she has clothes and people that care about her. 2.I think she's very obedient and on in off good and mehh attitude.3. Joyful challenges can lead to a better you. And challenging challenges you can learn from and accept what happened. But it can change a lot of your life like Hattie and Elizabeth.

1 Yes, because she at least has a family and clothes to last a month.
2 Her behavior is okay ,but I think she could be more polite and hold her anger in.
3 If someone is happy they will do what they are told, but if someone is mad or sad they may not do what they are told to do.

1- In the last chapter I think Hattie is acting appropriate by being ungrateful that she had to spend the night with the Henry's family. She thinks it isn't fair that others are telling her to be grateful when the other children are unkind. Hattie tries her best but the other children don't appreciate how hard it is for her. 2-I think her behavior is situation appropriate. 3-Hattie is grateful for how she is provided for but she is fearful because she does not know what is in the letter and she thinks he wrote it because he thinks there is a problem. She is scared and it is affecting her being able to enjoy herself.

1-I think Hattie has reasons to be grateful but can't exactly find them. She has a new family, a cat, but since she is new to this family, Henry's family isn't really helping with her new life. She is scared and alone because her true family died in a fire and she has no idea what it is like to live on the prairie.

1. Yes Hattie has multiple reasons to be grateful for. Some reason that she should be grateful for is that she has a school she gets to go to church and she has all the things she needs like food, water and shelter.2. Hattie’s behavior is ok it’s just what she thinks that’s kind of bad.3. Whenever someone’s meant with a challenging experience that they can’t overcome they just give up and get frustrated or sad.

1I don't think she should be grateful for the death of her parents or her new family they misunderstood her. 2And her attitude is fine for her position. 3 A personality is affected by a traumatizing experience like someone died and you are sad for a while.

Yes, Hattie can be grateful for her adopted family.
I think she is a little bit sassy, and her behavior is good.
Experiences could make someone sad a lot or excited.

1. yes because she has clothes friends and and she has Henry and Elizabeth to trust. 2.Hattie's behavior is good her attitude is ok sometimes she can be a little sassy but other wise its good. 3.Peoples personalitys get influenced by being joyful because if you are playing a game with teams and your team is winning then your happy but at the last second the other team wins then it might make you sad .

1. Hattie does have a reason to be grateful. She has been given clothes by the Jansen's, she's been taken care of by the Jansen's, and she isn't in the orphanage and lives in a home. 2. She tries to do her best and most of the time she overthinks. Her attitude might be from when her family died. Her behavior is acceptable, but not the best of behaviors. 3. Joyful and challenging experiences are to influence personalities because joyful experiences cheer people and make them happy and challenging ones are to test the knowledge of a person(people). The experiences influence personalities to become better. Sometimes worse, but usually better.
